Dean's Headshots
Meet Dean. He recently graduated early from Louisa High School and has plans to attend Virginia Commonwealth University in the Fall. Dean has not only been accepted to VCU, but also was accepted into the Theatre program in their School of Arts! Remember this face, guys. Whether it's acting or modeling, you will definitely see him again.
Dean contacted me for headshots but there was no way I could stop there. I mean, have you seen him?! So we made it a mini Senior shoot too. The day of Dean's shoot was a beautiful sunny day with Spring-like weather. The sunset was perfect for the shots we were looking for. Add that to the cool buildings we have here in town, and you have a recipe for success! Dean was so much fun and was not afraid to make requests for shots. He took Meg's posing directions very well and I think the results are simply amazing.
Thank you, Dean, for a really fun shoot!
Jacob and Megan
Meet Jacob and Megan. Jacob is my oldest son and Megan is my assistant/second shooter. This weekend they celebrated their first dating anniversary. They went to a 90's show at the Jefferson Theater and spent the rest of the weekend doing things with their siblings. I might be a little bit partial, but I really love these guys. Happy Anniversary!
I decided to try a new editing style with these photos since it was so foggy on the day of this shoot. I like the result! Also, these two are just gorgeous!
The Miller Family
Meet the Miller family. They are well-loved here in Orange and I am so honored to have been asked to photograph them. The forecast was pretty wet on the day we chose for their shoot. Some might let that derail their plans, but not us! I was so excited to shoot in the rain. The family showed up with their rain gear and great attitudes.
The twins had a blast running around and imagining mazes to race in. They laughed a lot and listened so well. We ended the shoot with a couple of jumps in puddles.
Elliot spent most of the time soaking in his surroundings, being that this was his first time in the rain. He was very attentive and absolutely adorable. We did mange to get a few smiles out of him when he played with his daddy.
Miller family, thank you so much for allowing us to capture this sweet time in your lives!
